John Boos & Co., based in Effingham, IL has been manufacturing high quality butcher blocks since 1887. Conrad Boos constructed the first Boos Block for use in his blacksmith shop, and though years have seen his original design refined and perfected, the blocks manufactured today are much the same. Today the company crafts high quality butcherblock furniture pieces, beautiful butcherblock countertops, and a range of stainless steel products for residential and commercial kitchens.
